Duties

• Assist in food preparation, including mixing, shaping, and assembling baked goods
• Support cupcake decorating and finishing to meet customer specifications and presentation standards
• Package baked items efficiently for retail display or catering orders, maintaining product freshness and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
• Contribute to high-volume production by preparing ingredients, managing inventory, and supporting team members during busy periods
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed

Experience

• Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry work is desirable, but not required
• Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and pastry finishing skills preferred
• Hands-on experience with food handling, safety management, and kitchen operations in a bakery or restaurant environment is advantageous
• Strong understanding of food safety standards within the food industry or culinary field
• Customer service experience that demonstrates friendly communication and teamwork skills
