Duties

• Assist in preparing ingredients and baking a variety of baked goods, including pastries and cakes.
• Decorate cakes and desserts with precision and creativity using cake decorating techniques.
• Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed to maintain hygiene and quality.
• Package baked items carefully for sale or delivery, maintaining presentation standards.
• Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area by sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly.
• Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with purchases.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic cooking and baking skills; experience with cake decorating is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in food presentation and packaging.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Kitchen experience involving food preparation, baking, or cooking is highly desirable.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
