Bakery Assistant Supervisor

1. Assist the Bakery Supervisor in overseeing daily bakery operations.

2. Supervise and support bakery staff to ensure smooth workflow.

3. Assist with food preparation, baking, decorating, and product presentation when required.

4. Ensure all bakery products meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards.

5. Monitor stock levels, ingredients, packaging, and assist with inventory control.

6. Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are maintained.

7. Assist in scheduling staff and allocating daily tasks.

8. Handle customer enquiries and provide friendly, professional service.

9. Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reports.

10. Support the Supervisor in achieving sales targets and improving bakery operations.

11. Train and guide new team members when required.

12. Help manage customer orders, including special and bulk orders.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Minimum SPM; Diploma in Food & Beverage, Business, or a related field is an advantage.

2. Previous experience in a bakery, café, food service, or retail environment is preferred.

3. Supervisory or team-leading experience is an advantage.

4. Basic knowledge of baking, food handling, and hygiene practices.

5. Good communication and customer service skills.

6. Responsible, reliable, and able to work well in a team.

7. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.

8. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

9. Positive attitude with good leadership and problem-solving skills.
