About Us We are a scratch-production artisan bakery dedicated to the craft of real bread. We believe in long fermentation, hand-shaping, and baking in small batches to achieve the perfect crackling crust and open crumb. We don't use shortcuts—just quality grain, water, time, and technique. 100% sourdough. Working out of a standalone commercial kitchen, we are a close-knit team of 3-5 people collaborating to make great food. We work closely with supplying our cafe the baked goods, supplies, and ingredients they need, preparing breads and pastry for up to 10 weekly farmers markets in the summer, alongside several wholesale customers we have locally. We are looking for team members who respect the craft and take pride in everything that comes out of our kitchen.

Job Summary The Bakery Associate is the backbone of our daily operations. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and wants to get their foot in the door of a real artisan bakery.

Responsibilities

• Support the baking team with daily prep work, packaging, and organization.
• Communicate effectively and work closely alongside our small team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain a spotless and organized workspace; wash dishes and equipment as needed.
• Follow instructions precisely and maintain our high standards for cleanliness and quality.

Requirements

• Positive Attitude: We are looking for friendly, upbeat people who love being part of a team. We will gladly teach you baking skills if you bring a great vibe and a strong work ethic.
• Small Team Dynamic: Excellent internal communication skills and the ability to collaborate respectfully with 3-5 coworkers in a shared commercial space.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Experience: Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required if you are eager to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
