Responsibilities

• Assist customers by providing friendly service, answering questions about products, and offering recommendations
• Cash handling - taking payments in the form of cash or card
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Maintaining a clean, organizing store front and work area
• Making coffees using an espresso machine to make lattes, cappuccinos, americanos etc
• Slicing deli meats and cheeses
• Serving food from a hot table
• Package bakery items

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle food safely by following food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
