Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and creativity
• Decorate cakes and pastries using piping techniques, fondant, and other cake decorating tools to meet customer specifications
• Package baked items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Assist in food production tasks such as mixing doughs, preparing fillings, and assembling products for sale or catering orders
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Support in catering events by preparing baked goods and assisting with setup as needed
• Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations

Experience

• Prior experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related food industry role is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with cake decorating techniques and food presentation skills
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper kitchen hygiene practices
• Familiarity with packaging methods suitable for retail or catering environments
• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are beneficial
• Previous roles involving cooking, food handling, or culinary experience will support success in this position
