Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies following established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and decorating tools safely and efficiently
• Package baked items with precision to maintain freshness and presentation for retail display or catering orders
• Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques to meet customer specifications and enhance visual appeal
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper equipment cleaning routines
• Assist in food production tasks such as dough preparation, pastry assembly, and ingredient measurement using basic math skills
• Support high-volume production environments by managing multiple tasks quickly while maintaining attention to detail

Experience

• Prior experience in food production, bakery operations, or culinary environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, pastry preparation, and baking techniques
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
• Customer service experience that emphasizes professionalism and positive interactions with clients or team members
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to food industry standards for quality control
• Experience with catering or large-scale food production is a plus but not required

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
