Bakery Associate

**Bakery Associate — All Stations (Cashier/Barista, Baker, Cake Decorator, Separator)**

85°C Bakery Cafe in Palm Desert is hiring! We bake fresh bread in-store every day, and we are looking for friendly, reliable people to join our team. We are hiring across all stations and we keep this posting open year-round — if you are looking for a stable job with room to grow, we would love to meet you.

**Pay:** $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. No experience? Start at $18 — we train you.

**Bonuses:** Quarterly team bonuses and a year-end bonus — when the store does well, the team shares in it.

**Stations you can work and grow in:**

• Cashier / Barista — front counter, drinks, and helping guests

• Baker — baking fresh bread throughout the day

• Cake Decorator — finishing and decorating cakes

• Separator — preparing and organizing bread for the day

Most of our team members learn more than one station over time, and every new skill moves you forward.

**Grow with us:** Associate $18–$20/hr → Senior Associate up to $22/hr → Shift Leader $22.50–$23/hr → Supervisor up to $24/hr. We promote from within — most of our leaders started as associates.

**What we are looking for:**

• Positive attitude and a team-first mindset

• Reliability — you show up on time, every time

• Availability on weekends and holidays (our busiest, most fun days)

• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs

• A California Food Handler Card is a plus — if you don't have one yet, you can get it after you're hired and we'll walk you through it

• 18 or older preferred for baker and early-morning shifts

**Schedule:** Full-time and part-time positions available. Flexible scheduling for students. Early morning, daytime, and evening shifts depending on station.
