Bakery Bench Lead - FT

Position Details:

• Bakery Bench Leads possess knowledge and experience that allows them to lead others within our bakery.
• This position is for a Bakery Bench Lead and requires culinary experience.

Responsibilities:

• Follows Woods Coffee’s operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Supports Bakery Manager in leading positions within the bakery.
• Has experience or knowledge of baking and food production.
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines set by Woods Coffee and local health departments.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Cross trained on a variety of stations within Bakery including Packer, Deli, Deli prep, Production and more.

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $21.75 - 23.25 / hour based on experience.

Essential job functions:

• Repeated heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 50lb above head.
• Constantly standing, walking, stooping, bending, squatting.
• Constantly using hands, wrists and arms, sometimes in a repetitive manner.
• Pushing and pulling, picking up, and lifting products.
• Regular in person attendance.

Requirements

• Food Handlers permit obtained through the local health department.
• Age Requirement: This position requires the use of equipment that is regulated by state law, and as such, applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this role. Applicants under the age of 18 are not eligible for this position due to legal restrictions on operating certain machinery and equipment.
