Bakery Chef

Production and Preparation:

• Prepare and produce various types of bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, and daily desserts.
• Strictly follow standard recipes and adjust measurements to ensure consistent product quality and taste.
• Innovate and develop new recipes or seasonal items that cater to customer preferences.

Bakery and Equipment Supervision:

• Safely operate and maintain industrial bakery equipment (e.g., mixers, ovens, and whisks).
• Oversee the ongoing preparation and cleaning of the workspace, tools, and equipment.

Inventory and Ordering Management:

• Monitor raw material inventory (flour, sugar, butter, etc.), identify shortages, and prepare supply orders.
• Manage production costs and minimize ingredient waste.
• Quality and Safety:
• Adhere to public health, food safety, personal hygiene, and kitchen safety standards.
• Monitor the quality of the finished baked goods, including their decoration and presentation to customers.

Leadership and Teamwork:

• Train and mentor assistant chefs or new cooks within the department.
• Organize production schedules and oversee workflow during peak periods.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Certificate in Culinary Arts or a specialization in baking and pastry arts.
• Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in baking or working in a bakery, hotel, or restaurant.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of baking science and techniques, as well as fermentation and baking temperatures.
• Creative skills in decorating and presenting baked goods and pastries.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
