Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and specialty items with precision and care
• Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations to maintain hygiene standards
• Package baked items neatly for display or takeout orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
• Assist customers with product selections, answer questions about ingredients, and provide friendly service
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout your shift to uphold food safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or food preparation within a bakery or restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking and food preparation
• Experience in the food industry that demonstrates reliability and teamwork orientation
