Bakery Packer/Driver

Main Purpose:

Fitzbillies bakery is a Cambridge institution, founded over 100 years ago and best known for its ultra-sticky Chelsea buns.

This role is at the bakery in Harston, the heart of the business. We make a large range of amazing artisan baked goods, by hand every day. Everything from sourdough bread, to croissant, to our Chelsea buns, to macarons and wedding cakes.

As the business gets busier and grows, we need someone with good organisational skills and positive attitude to support our daily operations with packing products and deliveries to our branches and small amount of wholesale customers..

Job Outline

A member of the team at Fitzbillies central bakery, reporting to Bakery Manager. Responsible for packing products and deliveries - working to ensure that deliveries are done on time and accurately. Assist with checks and maintenance on vans, keeping records up-to-date. Keep packing area neat and clean. Help out with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

· Full and clean UK driving licence - mandatory

· 5 years driving experience - mandatory

· Friendly and approachable demeanour

· Positive, hard-working and organised attitude

Hours & Renumeration

30-45 hours a week, weekends are included

5 days out of 7

Start times vary between 5am - 6am

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
