Bakery Packing Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Bakery Packing Machine Operator to operate and monitor packing machines for bakery products, ensuring efficient production, accurate packaging, product quality, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packing machines used for bread, cakes, biscuits, cookies, pastries, and other bakery products.
• Set up machines and adjust settings according to product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Ensure correct packaging, sealing, labelling, date coding, and batch coding of products.
• Monitor machine performance and identify any operational issues or packaging defects.
• Perform routine cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of packing machines.
• Check packaging materials, including plastic films, trays, cartons, and labels, before use.
• Ensure products are packed according to company quality standards and production schedules.
• Conduct regular checks to prevent underweight packs, damaged packaging, and sealing defects.
• Maintain production records, packing output, wastage reports, and machine downtime records.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience operating packing machines in a bakery or food manufacturing facility.
• Hands-on experience with automatic or semi-automatic packing machines is preferred.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, sealing systems, date coding, and labelling equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and machine adjustment skills.
• Ability to identify packaging defects and maintain quality standards.
• Physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.

Education

• High school or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Technical training in machine operation or food production is an advantage.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
