About the role

Commis III – Bakery & Pastry position in a production team, assisting in the daily preparation and production of bakery and pastry products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the daily preparation and production of bakery and pastry products
• Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and instructions
• Assist with breads, cakes, pastries, fillings, creams and other bakery items
• Support senior team members with production and preparation work
• Ensure products are prepared according to required quality and hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, equipment and production area
• Follow food safety, hygiene and company procedures
• Assist with packing, labelling and arranging finished products when required
• Carry out other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or chef

About you

• Basic knowledge or interest in bakery and pastry production
• Experience in bakery, pastry, kitchen or food production is an advantage
• Willing to learn and follow instructions
• Responsible, punctual and able to work well in a team
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Able to work shifts, weekends or public holidays when required
