Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Bakery/Production Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of baked goods and food items according to established recipes and standards
• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace to meet food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support the baking process by measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and monitoring baking times
• Ensure all food products are prepared with quality control in mind, adhering to portion sizes and presentation standards
• Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent contamination or accidents during production
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and ensure timely delivery of products

Skills

• Experience in food production or food preparation within a bakery or kitchen setting would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards again would be an advantage but full training will be given.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Prior restaurant or culinary experience is a plus but not required
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks may include heavy lifting
