Position: Bakery Production Supervisor

ROLE: The Bakery Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day baking operations, ensuring seamless workflow, consistent product standards, and compliance with production schedules. The role involves guiding floor teams, monitoring daily output quality, enforcing safety and sanitation protocols, and resolving operational bottlenecks on the production line. The supervisor also collaborates closely with management to hit volume targets and support staff development.

Working Conditions:

·        Work is primarily based in a bakery or production facility, with exposure to heat, machinery, and food preparation areas.

·        Requires early morning shifts, extended hours, and availability on weekends or holidays based on production demands.

·        Involves overseeing team members in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

·        Requires active coordination with logistics, purchasing, and other departments to meet delivery deadlines.

·        The role includes supervising staff activities, handling daily shift challenges, and maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards.

·        Involves standing for extended periods and active physical movement across the production floor.

Qualifications:

·        At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or senior operational role within a bakery, commissary, or food manufacturing environment.

·        Strong leadership and team supervision skills.

·        Proficient in daily production scheduling and workflow coordination.

·        Knowledgeable in quality control implementation and hazard analysis.

·        Experienced in on-the-floor staff training and performance tracking.

·        Highly organized, systematic, and attentive to detail.

·        Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of accountability.
