Bakery Production Worker / General Line Worker

Job Overview

Brooklyn Brands Inc. is seeking reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Bakery Production Workers to join our kosher bakery manufacturing team in the Bronx. In this role, you will support core production lines across multiple stations, including cookie icing, dough shaping, machine feeding, and packaging.

Because bakery production schedules fluctuate based on client orders and seasonal demands, we require candidates with a strong work ethic, high dependability, and full schedule flexibility.

Schedule & Availability Requirements

• Flexible Shift Schedule: Must be available for day, mid-day, or evening production shifts based on business and manufacturing needs.
• Variable Hours: Ability to accommodate shift adjustments, additional production days (including urgent peak-volume days), and occasional overtime is strictly required.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Black & White Cookie Smearing: Apply fondant and chocolate icing accurately, cleanly, and at a steady production pace.
• Babka & Pastry Shaping: Handle, fill, twist, and pan Babka dough and other specialty baked goods according to recipe specifications.
• Machine Operation Support: Assist with cookie depositing machines, dough sheeters, and production conveyors.
• Packaging & Boxing: Inspect, pack, label, and box finished bakery products according to QA and packaging standards.
• Cross-Station Flexibility: Readily transition between different assembly lines and production stations as directed by floor supervisors.

What We’re Looking For

• Open Availability & Schedule Flexibility (Required): Willingness and ability to adjust shifts and work schedules to meet urgent production deadlines.
• Dependability: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to completing assigned shift hours.
• Manual Dexterity & Speed: Good hand-eye coordination for delicate food decoration, dough manipulation, and fast-paced packaging.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours), perform repetitive hand and arm motions, and lift up to 40–50 lbs.
• Experience: Prior experience in food manufacturing, commercial bakery, or assembly lines is a plus, but motivated individuals willing to learn are welcome to apply.
• Team Attitude: Cooperative mindset, respectful communication, and openness to supervisor direction.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
