Production Assistant / Prep Cook (Part-Time)

Kohi Gum is a fast-growing startup that makes caffeine-infused chewing gum designed for athletes, cyclists, students, and busy professionals. We manufacture our products locally and are looking for a reliable team member to help with production and packaging.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Production Assistant / Prep Cook to assist with food production, packaging, wrapping, labeling, and general kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and can work efficiently in a food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Wrap and package gum products according to company standards
• Label finished products and prepare inventory for sale
• Assist with food preparation and ingredient measuring
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Count inventory and help organize supplies
• Assist with shipping and order fulfillment as needed
• Support production team with various tasks throughout the day

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, prep cook, bakery, manufacturing, or packaging experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
