Baler Operator

Location: Hobbs, NM
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7A.M. - 4P.M. (occasional 1/2 day Saturdays)
Pay: Hourly Position / $18-$25 depending on experience

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Yard Hand / Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized yard while assisting with loading, unloading, moving, and handling equipment and materials.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, mechanically inclined, willing to work outdoors, and comfortable operating various types of equipment.

Responsibilities

· Operate forklifts, skid steers, loaders, mobile material baler, and other yard equipment as needed.

· Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the yard.

· Perform general yard maintenance, cleanup, and housekeeping.

· Prepare Rail Cars for shipment.

· Maintain Equipment and keep the yard organized.

· Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.

· Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, supervisors, and other team members.

· Perform other general labor and yard duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Previous experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, or other industrial equipment preferred.

· Valid driver's license required. Class A CDL w/current DOT Card Preferred...

· Ability to safely operate equipment and follow instructions.

· Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.

· Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials as required.

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

· OSHA, forklift, or equipment certifications are a plus.
