RLDA is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and reliable RAD Ballet Teacher to join our friendly dance school.

We are looking for an experienced teacher who enjoys working with children and is committed to providing high-quality ballet training in a positive, encouraging and professional environment.

The role

● Teaching RAD Ballet classes on Saturday mornings

● Classes running approximately 8:30am – 2:00pm

● Planning and delivering engaging, structured lessons

● Preparing pupils for RAD examinations where appropriate and shows

● Supporting and encouraging pupils to develop their technique and confidence

● Working as part of a friendly teaching team

● Communicating professionally with parents and the Principal

The ideal candidate

● RAD qualified

● Previous experience teaching ballet, particularly children and young people

● Enthusiastic, reliable and professional

● Confident managing classes independently

● Passionate about developing young dancers

● A positive and encouraging approach to teaching

Essential requirements

● Enhanced DBS

● Safeguarding training

● First Aid qualification

● Appropriate ballet teaching qualifications

This could be an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to become more involved with an established and growing dance school.

Start date: January 2027, with a strong possibility of an earlier start for the right candidate.

Pay: Good rates of pay, dependent on experience and qualifications.
