• Experience Required: 0 – 3 years (Freshers with complete clinical rotatory internship are welcome)

Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and clinically sound Resident Medical Officer (BAMS) to manage inpatient care, monitor admitted patients, handle primary emergency admissions, and assist senior specialist consultants. The RMO will act as the first line of medical response within the hospital wards, ensuring round-the-clock patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities1. Inpatient (IPD) Care & Daily Rounds

• Conduct regular ward rounds to assess patient stability, monitor vitals, and evaluate response to ongoing treatment.
• Administer emergency care and routine medical management under the direction of the treating primary consultant/specialist.
• Communicate critical changes in a patient’s condition immediately to the respective primary doctor.
• Guide and supervise the nursing staff regarding medication administration, fluid therapy, and nursing care plans.

2. Emergency Management & First-Line Care

• Attend to casualty/emergency walk-ins, perform initial triage, stabilize patients, and initiate baseline emergency management protocols.
• Perform routine bedside clinical procedures such as IV cannulation, Ryle’s tube insertion, catheterization, wound dressing, and ECG recording.
• Assist in code situations or basic life support (BLS) protocols until senior intensivist/specialist intervention.

3. Medical Documentation & Compliance

• Complete detailed admission notes, physical examination records, and daily progress notes (SOAP format).
• Prepare accurate, timely discharge summaries, death summaries, and transfer sheets in accordance with hospital quality standards.
• Ensure all clinical documentation complies with statutory guidelines, NABH/quality norms, and medicolegal requirements.
• Verify medication charts, lab requests, and radiology orders to prevent medical or prescription errors.

4. Patient & Attendant Communication

• Explain basic diagnostic procedures, treatment updates, and general precautions to patients and their attendants with empathy.
• Maintain professional decorum, patient privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from a recognized university/institute.
• Licensing: Valid and active registration with the State Ayurvedic Board / Council / NCISM.
• Clinical Skills:
• Solid grasp of allopathic emergency baseline medications, fluid balance, and basic life support.
• Proficiency in handling common bedside procedures (catheter, cannula, ECG, vitals monitoring).
• Core Competencies: Quick decision-making under pressure, polite patient communication, multi-tasking, and strong coordination with nursing and administrative teams.
• Languages: Fluent Hindi; working knowledge of medical English.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
