About Us

Caboose is a small, friendly boutique bed and breakfast in the heart of Salisbury, with just eight beautifully presented guest rooms.

We welcome guests from across the UK and around the world and pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming and relaxed experience.

We're looking for a reliable, friendly and organised Part-Time Breakfast Host to join our small team.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently prepare and set up our continental breakfast buffet each morning.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Prepare and present breakfast items, including pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, bread and other continental options.
• Replenish buffet items, drinks and supplies throughout breakfast.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean, welcoming breakfast area.
• Clean down and reset the breakfast area ready for the following morning.
• Follow food hygiene procedures and maintain appropriate food safety standards.

Working Hours

• 7:00am – 11:00am, with working days agreed in advance.
• 7:00am – 8:00am: Prepare and set up the continental breakfast buffet.
• 8:00am – 10:00am: Welcome guests and manage breakfast service.
• 10:00am – 11:00am: Clear away breakfast, clean down and prepare for the following day.
• This is an independent role, so you should be comfortable managing the breakfast service on your own.

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, welcoming and confident with guests.
• Reliable, punctual and well-organised.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Previous hospitality or breakfast service experience is helpful but not essential.
• Food hygiene training will be provided.
