Bandsaw Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented meat Bandsaw Operator to join our preparation team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bandsaws to cut various materials accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality output. Your mechanical knowledge, proficiency with fabrication tools, and understanding of safety protocols will be essential to maintaining smooth production processes. Duties

• Operate bandsaws to cut raw meat according to specified dimensions and tolerances, adhering to safety standards at all times
• Set up and adjust bandsaw machines, including blade tension.
• Perform routine maintenance on bandsaws and related equipment, including tooling changes and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Assist with other shop related tasks such as breaking carcasses, serving, window prep as needed to support the team
• Maintain records of work performed, including batch codes, temperatures, and quantities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments with familiarity in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 45.0 per week
