Overview: The Bank Operations Analyst supports the Canada Accounts Payable function by ensuring accurate invoice processing, payment execution, account reconciliations, and compliance with financial controls and company policies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting month-end close activities, resolving payment-related issues, and driving continuous process improvements across Accounts Payable operations.

What You Will Do:

• Review, validate, and process Accounts Payable transactions in compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Prepare, reconcile, and support supplier payment activities, including investigation and resolution of payment exceptions.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reporting and reconciliation requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems, including SAP and E-Automate, to manage financial transactions and reporting activities.
• Analyze financial and operational data to support business decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoicing, payment, and banking-related concerns.
• Participate in automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, finance operations, banking operations, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial transactions, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, E-Automate, Oracle, Concur, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Prior experience in a BPO, shared services, or global business services environment supporting night shift operations is an advantage.
