Overview

A Teller for Community National Bank & Trust of Texas delivers a unique experience by providing outstanding customer service. They perform a variety of duties related to financial transactions.

Job duties will include:

Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for proper endorsement and enters deposits in to computer records.

Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances. Scans daily transactions.

Records customer transaction in computer and issues computer generated receipts.

Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data in Teller program. Reports any discrepancies to supervisor per Teller Policy.

Processes night depository.

Engages customers in conversation to understand their banking needs and identify sales opportunities.

Completes CTR transactions.

Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.

Balances and adds currency to automated teller machines in accordance with Bank policy.

Orders Fed cash and balance vault cash.

Exhibit a strong culture of trustworthiness, dependability and responsibility and observe strict confidentiality.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous cash handling experience is helpful.
