Bank Teller

The person appointed to the role will report to the Branch Manager and will be primarily accountable for carrying out a range of cash and administrative duties. Answering the phone and dealing with customer queries will also form part of the role.

Qualifications:

• APA certification is mandatory. Quoted salary is dependent on experience and Qualifications which apply to the role.
• Strong focus on teamwork and collaboration to achieve results
• Experience of providing high quality service to customers
• Ability to maintain a positive, professional and empathetic tone in all dealings with members of the public
• Flexibility and enthusiasm around the overall service provision
• Strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of the importance of working as part of a team
• Experience in the mortgage lending area would be an advantage but is not essential and relevant training will be provided

Responsibilities;

• Greet customers courteously when they visit the branch or on the phone and professionally deal with any queries and requirements they may have
• Process a range of transactions at the counter in a timely and professional manner
• Run reports at the agreed frequency and perform reconciliations as required
• Balance cash on a daily basis in line with policy
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and legislation requirements in all customer interactions.
• Work within all policies and procedures
