Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Bank Teller to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face of the bank, delivering outstanding customer service while efficiently managing daily banking transactions. Your enthusiasm for financial services and ability to build rapport will help strengthen customer relationships and promote the bank’s offerings. Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering tailored financial solutions
• Promote bank products and services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities to meet customer needs
• Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring suspicious activities and adhering to security protocols
• Process loan applications, assist with loan origination, and support loan processing activities
• Maintain accurate cash management records and perform cash handling duties following established procedures
• Support overall branch operations by managing debits & credits, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring compliance with banking policies

Requirements

• Completed High School diploma or GED.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Cash handling or sales experience strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of all bank deposit products and policies.
• Basic knowledge of bank loan, trust, and investment center products.
• General mathematical skills and knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to cross-sell product.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Operate with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with Bank exposure to loss or fraud.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs of coin or other items.
• Occasional lifting and moving of storage boxes may also be necessary.
