Banking AI Agent Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Banking AI Agent Engineer to design and build intelligent AI agents that automate complex banking and financial workflows. The role focuses on developing dedicated sub-agents capable of performing tasks such as AML transaction log analysis, document processing, code generation, and other complex manual processes .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI Agents and multi-agent workflows for banking use cases.
• Build advanced function-calling and tool-use capabilities to enable agents to interact with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Develop deterministic prompts to ensure consistent, reliable, and controlled AI outputs.
• Implement structured output generation and verification mechanisms.
• Build specialized AI sub-agents for tasks such as:
• AML transaction log parsing and analysis
• Data extraction and processing
• Code generation
• Workflow automation
• Decision-support processes
• Integrate LLM-based agents with banking systems, APIs, and enterprise tools.
• Implement testing, validation, monitoring, and guardrails for AI agent performance.
• Work closely with engineering, data, and banking domain teams to translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agents .
• Hands-on experience with Function Calling and Tool Use .
• Experience designing Agentic AI and multi-agent workflows .
• Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering , especially deterministic prompt design.
• Experience with structured outputs, JSON schemas, validation, and output verification .
• Strong programming skills in Python .
• Experience integrating AI solutions with REST APIs, databases, and enterprise applications .
• Understanding of RAG, embeddings, and vector databases .
• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph , or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation, observability, monitoring, and guardrails .

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Knowledge of AML, transaction monitoring, compliance, or risk management .
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry , or similar AI platforms.
• Experience deploying AI applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms .
• Knowledge of MLOps or LLMOps .
