Banking Senior Test Engineer / Test Engineer

You will be involving…

• Support the UAT activities for digital projects.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Understand the digital platforms and provide feedback.
• Launch updated features for our digital platforms.
• Provide training to users on enhancements to digital features.
• Assist with various ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree holder
• 3+ year working experience, preferably in IT/ Banking sectors
• Capable of flexibly applying testing methodologies and independently taking charge of quality assurance at module level;
• Possess hands-on experience in functional testing, interface (API) testing, compatibility testing and performance testing;
• Possess relevant testing experience in the banking sector, with a clear understanding of personal banking, corporate banking, wealth management and investment businesses;
• Capable of independently analyzing module requirements and independently preparing module-level test plans as well as designing test cases;
• Capable of independently setting up test environments;
• Possess relevant knowledge of SQL scripts, JavaScript and databases;
• Proficient in the use of testing tools such as JMeter, Postman, SoapUI and JIRA;
• Capable of tracking, analyzing and reporting defects identified during testing, and driving timely resolution of issues;
• Possess strong logical analytical and learning abilities, together with solid summarization skills.
