Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and attentive Banksman to join our waste management and recycling team. You will be responsible for guiding vehicle movements and maintaining clear communication between drivers and ground personnel. Your role is essential in creating a safe, efficient work environment by managing access points and assisting with the precise positioning of vehicles.

Duties

• Direct vehicle movements on-site using radio communication to ensure safe navigation around the waste facility
• Maintain constant communication with Weighbridge Operator and ground staff to coordinate movements effectively
• Support site safety protocols by monitoring surroundings and alerting teams to potential hazards

Experience

• Prior experience is preferrable
• Strong communication skills are essential for clear co-ordination with drivers, operators, and team members
• Fluency in English is required for effective understanding of safety instructions and communication protocols

Pay: £16.54 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 per week
