Banquet Bartender

Join the Westmoreland Club Beverage Team. Serving in all aspects of bartending from a la carte service to banquets.

Service the Westmoreland Club members in a efficient professional manner.

Essential Functions:

1. Reports to work as scheduled and in complete uniform. Reads daily activity sheet and banquet event orders for the day. Reads and initials the contents of the department information log. Checks in with supervisor for shift assignment, reviewing the shift log then begins performing duties.

2. Follows opening, closing and shift check lists.

3. Prepares drinks according to recipe card.

4. Follows standard price list in charging for drinks served.

5. Records each sale accurately on point of sale system

6. Does not serve underage guests.

7. Follows alcohol awareness guidelines in serving all guests.

8. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

9. Maintains clean and safe work environment.

10. Clocks out at end of shift and departs property until next scheduled shift.

OTHER DUTIES

Assimilate into the Westmoreland Club culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of corporate policies. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by The Westmoreland Club from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health of safety:

Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The hotel provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.

QUALIFYING STANDARDS

Education

High School graduate or equivalent required.

Four-year college degree preferred.

Licenses or Certificates

Food Service Sanitation, RAMP certification, CPR Certification, and/or First Aid Training preferred.

Grooming

All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (refer to company handbook for company standard).

Other

Additional language ability preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
