Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage multiple bar stations efficiently during banquet events, ensuring timely service while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
• Engage with guests professionally and enthusiastically to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with catering staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service delivery for all banquet functions.
• Assist in beverage recipe development and suggest pairing options to enhance guest satisfaction during events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, particularly in banquet or fine dining settings.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe creation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or stations simultaneously during busy events.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and proper cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for banquet events.
