Banquet Cook

Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual for an entry level position in our Banquet Kitchen. In this position, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving delicious meals to our customers. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary requirements
• Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an appealing manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• must be motivated to learn a new skill and be a part of a team

Skills
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

• Some knowledge of food service practices and techniques
• Experience working in a dietary department or catering setting is preferred
• Ability to use kitchen knives and cooking utensils
• willingness to learn, and be taught, to use varied pieces of kitchen equipment in a safe and efficient manner
