Banquet Coordinator

We are looking for a Banquet Coordinator who will support banquet management through accurate and timely administrative and interdepartmental coordination for conference and event operations. When required, the job holder serves as Banquet Captain for event service.

Key accountabilities

• Maintain accurate banquet administrative records, including function schedules, attendance, staffing, briefing documents, operational checklists, and other reports as assigned.
• Monitor communicates changes, discrepancies or missing information function details and updates promptly the Banquet service team and relevant departments.
• Supports function summaries and staffing updates and daily briefings.
• Assist with meeting preparation, documentation, collaterals and other admin task.document control, and other administrative requirement.
• When assigned as Banquet Captain, leads function preparation, execution, and breakdown of the relevant function according to the approved event schedule.

General Requirements

• At least 1 year of banquet, restaurant, events, or hotel administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office -Outlook, Word, and Excel, and banquet-related systems.
• Good working knowledge of banquet operations, Banquet Event Orders, function schedules, event service and hotel service standards.
• Strong communicator, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Service-oriented, flexible, and confident coordinating across departments or leading banquet team when needed.
