DIRECT BANQUET EXPERIENCE REQUIRED — THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL SERVER POSITION.

Jumping Brook Country Club is seeking experienced Banquet Servers to join our event team.

We are looking for professionals who already understand the pace, standards, and expectations of wedding and banquet service and can step into an event with minimal training.

If YES, please list the banquet/event venues, hotels, country clubs, catering companies, or other employers where you gained this experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Candidates MUST have previous, direct banquet or event serving experience.

Experience must include serving weddings, private events, catered functions, country club events, hotel banquets, or similar large-scale events.

Candidates without direct banquet/event serving experience will NOT be considered.

General restaurant or customer-service experience alone does not meet this requirement; candidates must have direct banquet or event serving experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide professional, attentive service during weddings, corporate events, social events, and other private functions
• Execute plated and buffet meal service according to established service standards
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
• Follow BEOs, floor plans, timelines, and direction from banquet management
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance and demeanor throughout each event
• Work efficiently and cooperatively with the banquet team during high-volume events
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional hospitality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous banquet/event serving experience — REQUIRED
• Experience with weddings and/or large-scale events strongly preferred
• Professional appearance and excellent guest-service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/carry banquet service items
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 30.0 per week
