Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of banquet spaces to ensure a polished presentation for each event
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining proper beverage service standards
• Buss tables promptly and maintain cleanliness in dining areas throughout events
• Support culinary staff with food handling, preparation, and replenishing stations as needed
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously to foster positive relations
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for food and beverage orders accurately
• Adhere to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Culinary or banquet experience is a plus, especially in fine dining settings or large-scale events
• Strong guest relations and customer service skills are essential for creating welcoming atmospheres
• Familiarity with serving techniques, beverage service—including bartending—and wine knowledge enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and portioning food or drinks accurately
• Experience with food safety standards and food preparation practices ensures compliance with health regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during busy event seasons
