Fearless Restaurants is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Banquet Manager to join the team at Moshulu, Philadelphia’s iconic floating restaurant and event destination.

The Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of private events, weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions aboard Moshulu. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for hospitality, and understands that exceptional events are built through thoughtful planning, strong communication, and flawless execution.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning and execution of private events from pre-event preparation through completion.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients and event partners on the day of an event.
• Work closely with the sales and events team to ensure all event details, timelines, menus, setups, and client expectations are clearly communicated and executed.
• Conduct pre-event meetings and communicate event details to culinary, service, bar, and operations teams.
• Oversee banquet staff and event service, ensuring exceptional hospitality and adherence to Moshulu standards.
• Manage event setup, service, breakdown, and post-event responsibilities.
• Ensure events run according to established timelines while proactively addressing issues as they arise.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor and lead the team by example.
• Monitor food and beverage service, presentation, guest experience, and overall event quality.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and coaching of banquet team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Work closely with culinary leadership to ensure proper execution of menus and special dietary requests.
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with event forecasting, inventory needs, labor management, and operational planning.
• Help identify opportunities to improve event operations, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
• Represent Moshulu and Fearless Restaurants with professionalism and genuine hospitality at every event.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of banquet, event, catering, or restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong understanding of food, beverage, and banquet service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting event details.
• Professional presence and strong client-service skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and event management tools.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.
