Banquet Server

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring all tables, linens, glassware, and utensils are perfectly arranged.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their seats with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Assist with food handling, portioning, and presentation to uphold food safety standards.
• Clear tables promptly after service, bussing dishes and resetting for the next course or event segment.
• Support bartenders with beverage service, including wine pouring, drink mixing, and maintaining bar station cleanliness.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special guest requests or dietary needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred.
• Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and proper serving techniques.
• Experience with beverage service, including wine knowledge and drink presentation.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays comfortably, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for handling payments or measuring ingredients accurately.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances the guest experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
