Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring all tables, linens, silverware, glassware, and serving stations are prepared to high standards
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, maintaining excellent guest relations throughout the event
• Buss tables efficiently during and after service to maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and proper food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate order taking and billing processes
• Provide beverage service including wine knowledge, drink service, and refilling guests’ drinks as needed
• Support catering operations by helping with food setup, serving, and breakdown at various events

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred, especially in banquet or fine dining settings
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
• Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and basic math skills for order accuracy and billing
• Knowledge of wine types, beverage service standards, and proper drink presentation is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
