About the Position

The Event Server handles all aspects of the private spaces and ensures that guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. This position can be either part or full time and requires flexibility. The Event Server is the primary point of contact for guests throughout their experience: prompt for allergies and help guests with food restrictions navigate the menu. They must fire their courses, coordinate with the kitchen and ensure that tables are properly marked in accordance with the menu. During the dining experience the Event Server will interact with guests and answer any questions about the menu, wine, or concept.

Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations:

The outlined responsibilities below reflect an overview of the position; as a growing company we will need to be flexible to a changing environment and change in duties and responsibilities.

• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, handling orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a tidy dining space while managing a fast-paced service
• Effectively communicate with guests, managers, and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail and desire to collaborate with fellow servers and work as a team
• Product knowledge, especially when it come to ingredients, food techniques and wine from Italy and around the world
• Ensure steps of service are executed consistently and with excellence
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns with grace, and elevate the overall dining experience
• Food and safety compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
• Must be able to obtain all necessary certifications including but not limited to Food Handlers, Sexual Harassment and Responsible Beverage Service

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to continuously stand or walk
• Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
