Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with a polished presentation, including wine and drink service
• Clear tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event
• Handle food handling responsibilities safely in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, including bussing tables and resetting for upcoming events
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders accurately and handle cash or credit transactions when necessary
• Provide excellent guest relations by responding promptly to guest needs, questions, or special requests to enhance their experience

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or banquet settings is highly preferred
• Familiarity with fine dining, hospitality standards, and beverage service including wine knowledge or bartending skills is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques is essential
• Experience working with POS systems and managing multiple tables or events simultaneously demonstrates strong organizational skills
• Background in hotel or restaurant environments can provide valuable insights into high-quality guest service expectations
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or supplies, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is required
• Prior experience with catering setups, beverage service, or coffee service can be advantageous for success in this role

Pay: From $8.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
