Banquet Server

Job Summary

The Country Club at Woodmore is seeking a professional, personable, and service-oriented Banquet Server to join our team. The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during private events, weddings, banquets, member functions, and special occasions. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, works well in a team environment, and is committed to creating an outstanding dining experience for our members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, dining areas, tables, chairs, linens, and place settings according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally while maintaining high service standards.
• Greet members and guests courteously and respond to their needs throughout the event.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable dining and service area before, during, and after events.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the banquet captain, kitchen staff, catering team, and management to ensure smooth event execution.
• Assist with event breakdown, clearing tables, removing dishes, and resetting rooms for future functions.
• Accommodate guest requests and dietary needs while providing attentive and personalized service.
• Follow club service standards, dress code, and established operating procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the banquet and catering team.

Qualifications

• Previous serving, banquet, hospitality, or food service experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or carry banquet equipment, trays, and supplies as required.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service.

Work Environment

This position operates in a private country club setting, serving members and their guests during a variety of social, corporate, and special events. Banquet Servers are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality while contributing to a memorable guest experience.
