Banquet Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong background in guest services and hospitality. As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience during events. Your responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms for events, including arranging tables and chairs according to specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Buss tables promptly after guests finish their meals to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during events.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in banquet or catering settings, is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in culinary roles or restaurant settings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hotel operations or coffee service can be beneficial but is not required.
