Banquet Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm for food, beverage service, and guest relations will help create a lively and welcoming atmosphere at our events and banquets.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet areas with tables, linens, utensils, glassware, and centerpieces to create an inviting environment.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, including wine and drink service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and bussing to maintain cleanliness and efficiency during events.
• Engage with guests professionally to provide exceptional guest services and address any special requests or concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including catering options and wine pairings, to inform guests confidently.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to ensure health standards are met.
• Clear tables efficiently after service, resetting areas for subsequent courses or events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred.
• Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with banquet service, fine dining standards, and beverage service techniques.
• Basic math skills for handling bills or POS (Point of Sale) systems transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of wine types, drink service procedures, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude that enhances hospitality experiences.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
