Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring all tables, linens, glassware, and utensils are perfectly arranged.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation and guest interaction.
• Assist with food handling, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and proper food presentation techniques.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items including wine and beverage options, and accommodate special requests.
• Clear tables efficiently during and after events, bussing dishes and maintaining a clean dining area throughout the service.
• Support beverage service including wine pouring, drink mixing, and operating POS systems for billing when necessary.
• Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure timely delivery of food courses while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred.
• Culinary or banquet experience that demonstrates knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and fine dining standards.
• Strong guest services skills with the ability to build positive guest relations in fast-paced settings.
• Familiarity with beverage service including wine knowledge and drink presentation is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food preparation practices.
• Hospitality background with a focus on customer service excellence in restaurant or catering environments is desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
