Banquet Server | On-Call

Organization- Hyatt Regency Austin Summary Banquet Event servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They are charged with making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offerings for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and food and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. Valid Texas Food Handler and TABC certifications are required for this position.

On-Call Banquet Servers are expected to be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

• 1 – 3 years previous serving experience preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight on a consistent basis.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with continual guest interactions.
• Passion for creating unique and personalized dining experiences.
• Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications
