Duties

• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously at banquets, receptions, and special events, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beverage pairings to enhance guest experience.
• Set up banquet tables with linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces; ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and inviting.
• Engage with guests to provide personalized service, address inquiries about menu items or beverages, and foster positive relationships.
• Buss tables promptly during events to maintain cleanliness; assist with food handling and basic food preparation as needed.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing; handle cash or credit transactions responsibly.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred, especially in banquet or fine dining settings.
• Culinary experience or catering background is advantageous for understanding food presentation and service standards.
• Demonstrated guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of wine service, beverage mixing, and drink presentation enhances the guest experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for order accuracy and transaction handling.
• Experience in food handling, serving, bussing tables, or supporting catering operations is highly valued.
• A positive attitude combined with strong communication skills ensures memorable interactions with guests from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
