Banquet Setup/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Houseman/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during events, ensuring that all guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with the catering team to deliver high-quality food and service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in the food industry, hospitality, or customer service. Interviews will be set up for the last week of October.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decor.
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously during events.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards during food handling and preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals and accommodate any special dietary requests.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in the breakdown of events, including cleaning up and resetting banquet areas for future use.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry or hospitality is preferred, particularly in banquet or catering settings.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
