Banquet Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

-Supervise daily banquet operations, including weddings, corporate events, meetings, and other functions.

-Coordinate event setup, food and beverage service, and banquet staff assignments.

-Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest requests or complaints professionally.

-Monitor staff performance, attendance, grooming, and discipline.

-Coordinate with the kitchen, service team, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations.

-Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.

-Monitor banquet equipment, table arrangements, and inventory.

-Ensure all events are conducted according to the client's requirements and company standards.

Requirements:

-Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

-Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.

-Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

-Able to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team effectively.

-Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Qualifications:

-Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; a Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is an advantage.

-At least 1–2 years of experience in banquet operations, food and beverage service, or hotel operations.

-Previous supervisory experience in a hotel, restaurant, or banquet setting is preferred.

-Knowledge of banquet service standards, event setup, and food safety practices.

-Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
