We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Bar Assistant to join our team at Cafe Kisa.

This is a hands-on role within a busy restaurant environment, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering great service and is happy to get stuck in as part of a team.

The Role

As a Bar Assistant, you’ll help ensure our bar runs smoothly and our customers receive friendly, efficient service every time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• Making cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks to our standards
• Preparing and serving coffees and other hot drinks
• Providing friendly and attentive customer service
• Keeping the bar clean, organised and fully stocked throughout your shift
• Restocking fridges, glassware and bar supplies
• Maintaining high cleaning standards, including floors, surfaces and equipment
• Washing and polishing glassware
• Following opening and closing procedures
• Following licensing, food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the restaurant team during busy periods
• Helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere we want every customer to experience at Cafe Kisa

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, positive and confident with customers
• Reliable and punctual
• Hard-working with a good eye for detail
• Able to work efficiently during busy services
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
• Willing to learn and take feedback
• Proud of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends

Previous bar, hospitality or coffee-making experience would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.

Starting hourly rate is variable based on age and experience (under 23's pay is scaled based on age/experience).
